The Emmaus Lions Club recently hosted its annual peace poster contest.

Eyer Middle School student artists participate in the annual contest under the direction of art teacher David Willett.

Students created artwork on the theme “Peace Without Limits.”

Dhriti Patel earned first place. Jiya Patel placed second. Jackson Flicker placed third.

Dhriti Patel also earned first place in the Lions District 14-K contest and the Pennsylvania state contest before moving on to international competition.

Recognized with “Honorable Mention” awards are Maggie Siminski, Taryon Eberly, Mia Jarrah, Carter Williams, Autumn Diehl and Rachel Jeter.

Henry Heil is the poster contest chairman for the Emmaus Lions Club.

Richard Litzenberger is Emmaus Lions Club president.
