Manure webinar offered Feb. 26

Penn State Extension will hold a manure management webinar 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 26.

The webinar is designed for producers with livestock, producers who spread manure, conservation professionals and nutrient management planners.

This event will provide an annual update on manure regulations, research and proper manure storage and handling.

The session will cover:

— Manure management manual updates.

— Early spring application reminders.

— Improving nitrogen and manure management in no-till dairy cropping systems.

— Pre-sidedress nitrogen testing.

— Side-dressing manure.

— Manure storage.

— Manure injection partnership.

Attendees who attend the live session can earn three Pennsylvania certified crop adviser credits and three and one-half nutrient management and hauler/broker credits.

All registrants will receive a link to the recording following the webinar.
