City of Bethlehem Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 900 block of Broadway around 1 a.m. May 22. Upon arrival, crews made a rescue from a third floor window and extinguished the fire. Unfortunately, the rescued victim was determined to be deceased on scene. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of this fire is currently under investigation. Agencies involved in the investigation include the police department and the Lehigh County Coroner’s office. The status of this investigation is active and will be ongoing. Due to the status of the investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
