DUI

A 49-year-old male, of Emmaus, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after troopers were dispatched to Wawa convenience store and gas station, 4900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 10:18 p.m. March 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 38-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Chestnut and Allen streets, Upper Milford Township, 12:14 a.m. April 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 27-year-old male, of Breinigsville, was cited for harassment after he allegedly threatened to assault a person in connection with a road rage incident along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 2:30 p.m. March 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A vehicle was vandalized during the incident, according to authorities.

Identity theft

A resident of Hearth Lane, Lower Macungie Township, learned their personal information was used to open a fraudulent account with a furniture retailer, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 2 p.m. April 13.

Theft

Four males, all of Allentown, allegedly removed packages from porches of residences along Stonewall Drive and Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. An incident reported on Stonewall Drive around 4 p.m. April 10 led investigators to a vehicle allegedly involved in the thefts. Items taken included approximately $200 worth of clothing, $46 worth of dog food and additional miscellaneous merchandise with a total value of approximately $49.50.

Found property

State troopers recovered personal items, including a black purse, in the area of Willow Lane and Mulberry Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7 a.m. April 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Accidents

A motorist was hurt when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a traffic attenuator near Kressler Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:07 a.m. April 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling on U.S. Route 222 at the time of the crash and was transported from the scene by Macungie Ambulance.

A motorist was hurt and later cited for causing an accident after allegedly failing to have their headlights on in a two-car crash near Hamilton Boulevard and South Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:17 p.m. April 6. The motorist was traveling east on Hamilton Boulevard when another driver tried to turn left onto South Krocks Road and struck the first driver. The second driver was not hurt. The first driver refused medical treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the crash, according to authorities.
