Whitehall High School hosted the Zephyr Relays last weekend.

The boys finished 10th in the event and the girls were 14th.

The boys were led by Ian Thomas, who was the Zephs only first place finisher on the day. Thomas took the long jump with a distance of 21-10. Thomas was also second in the high jump clearing 6-3. He was just off the pace of Gavin Nelson of Northwestern, who cleared 6-7.

Aiden Sanders took second in the javelin with a throw of 150-1. It was behind Marcus Morales of Lehigh Valley Academy, who throw a 159-11.

Kaden Weaver was fourth in the shot put with a 44-8. Central’s Clark Gulycz won the event with a 57-5.

For the girls, Tessa Hopkins was second in the pole vault. Hopkins cleared 10-0, but was second to Northwestern’s Grace Yost who cleared 10-7.

Edrien Lee was fourth in the 100 with a time of 13.01

The 1600 relay team was fifth.
