Rose Shambo, 96, of West Catasauqua and Northampton, died April 15, 2024, while a guest at Parkland Manor. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Shambo Sr.

She was a daughter of the late John and Rose (Barna) Karaman.

She was a member of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Catasauqua.

She was a dedicated supporter of the former Whitehall Emergency Squad.

She is survived by two sons, John J. of Slatington and Joseph M. with wife TerriAnn of Whitehall; four grandchildren, Brittney Benson with husband Mickey and their children Brody, Bryce and Brogan, Donald “Richard” R. III with wife Amanda, Sydney with Semsudin Dzihic and Collin with son Sterling; a daughter-in-law, Lesley (Chittick); cousins; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a son, Donald R. Jr.; and a sister, Anna Turnock.
