Freedom track competes at Pirate Invite

Freedom’s track and field athletes earned four top finishes at the Pirate Invitational on April 12 at Palisades High School.

Aaron Beete won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.57 and placed second in the 200 meter dash in 23.49.

Dylan Boyle took top honors in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:40.14. Brayden Boyle placed fourth in the same event with a time of 4:53.30.

Ryan Parkin took second place in the 3200 meter run in 10:56.92.

In the 110 meter hurdles, Amare DuBoise placed second in 15.96, and Stephan Richards came in third in 16.17.

Richards was the second place finisher in the 300 meter hurdles in 42.25, and Ethan Huertas placed fourth in 43.90.

DuBoise won the long jump with a distance of 20-03.50.

Brooks Britt and Shacre Colwell went 1,2 in the triple jump with distances of 45-05.50 and 42-11.50, respectively.

Cameron Kashner took second place in the pole vault with a jump of 11-06.00.

Natalie Ray came in second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.35.

Ava Fihlman was second in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:01.49 in a photo finish where Quakertown’s Sophie Abato took first in 6:01.05.

Gretchen Hagenbuch placed fourth in discus with a throw of 76-01.00.
