Special to The Press

It was shoofly pie time at Northern Valley EMS as members of the Women’s Auxiliary once again prepared their delicious pies to support the mission of the ambulance corps.

The group baked the pies in the kitchen adjacent to the banquet hall at the headquarters of the Northern Valley EMS, 2375 Levans Road, Coplay, on March 17 and 18.

This year, the group baked and sold 390 of the Pennsylvania German inspired pies which delighted local shoofly pie aficionados from throughout the Lehigh Valley.
