Pennsylvania Farm Bureau donates to Philly Ronald McDonald House

The annual Farmers Care Day was held Feb. 19 at Freddy Hill Farm.

The total amount donated by Region 1 of Pennsylvania Farm Bureau was $13,882.16 in food, aluminum can tabs and monetary donations, which were given to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Philadelphia.

Taking part were Susan Myers, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee chairwoman, Amy Roak, RMHC ambassador, Chef Patrick Swartz, executive chef for RMHC, Anthony Stover, community relations manager for RMHC, John Caroff, Montgomery County Farm Bureau president, Sonia Fink, Lehigh County Farm Bureau Farmers Care coordinator, Anne Marie Staples, RMHC volunteer, and Melanie Fink, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee District 2 Representative.
