James C. Freeman

James C. Freeman, 85, who was residing at Country Meadows of Allentown, died March 14, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Elaine (Fleck) Freeman, were married 47 years.

Born Aug. 16, 1938, in Easton, he was the son of the late Elwood and Irene (Underwood) Freeman.

A graduate of Bangor High School, he attended Lehigh University, and was director of manufacturing at Philadelphia Quartz Company, formerly Potters Industries

He previously worked at ALPO, South Whitehall Township.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

He had a private pilot’s license and was a founding member of SWPC.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by children Eric Freeman (Debra) of Virginia, Kristen Attinella (Michael) of Florida, and Stacey McCann of Tennessee; stepdaughter Deborah Schnabel (Michael) of Breinigsville; brother Richard Freeman (Ruth) of Pen Argyl; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. March 21 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30 a.m.-10:20 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
