Fullerton fire damages row homes

Multiple emergency departments responded to a fire March 4 in the 400 block of Carolina Avenue in Fullerton. The blaze, which damaged several row homes, began around 11 a.m., according to reports.

Travelers throughout Whitehall Township could easily see the smoke from the fire. One commenter on Facebook said she could even see the smoke from her backyard in Allen Township.

No injuries occurred, according to social media and news outlets.

It was also reported a second floor collapsed when one of the homes was being boarded up.

Emergency personnel at the scene included the departments of Whitehall fire, Whitehall police, Coplay fire, Catasauqua fire, Greenawalds fire, Woodlawn fire, Laurys Station fire, Allentown fire, Lehigh County Cascade 3292 and Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

No other information was available as of press time.
