David D. Druckenmiller

David D. Druckenmiller, 63, of Coplay, died Feb. 25, 2024, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Jill (Geiss) Druckenmiller for 36 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert and Patricia (Burkhardt) Druckenmiller.

He was a 1978 graduate of Northampton High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State University in 1982.

He was in the banking industry for 37 years. His last position was regional manager for Key Bank, Slatington, until he retired in 2019. He was in broadcasting with ESPN Radio. He started his own Lehigh Valley sports network.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station. He was a board member of Lehigh Valley Zoo, Schnecksville. He was a master Mason with the F&AM Chapman Lodge 637, Northampton. He was a coach for Northampton Legion Baseball and in the Parkland School District for softball, baseball and basketball when his children were on the teams.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Nicholas and companion Diva Mercer of Lexington Park, Md.; two daughters, Caitlin P. and husband Fleming Paredes of Lexington Park and Courtney B. and husband Matthew Sawyer of Ocean City, N.J.; a sister, Cheryl and her husband Jeffrey Bell of Fogelsville; and a granddaughter, Serena.

Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or to the zoo, both c/o the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
