MAMA’S MUSINGS By Lani Goins

I am not a morning person. Getting up when it is still dark kind of annoys me. Having my low tire pressure light come on during an early morning of errands? Aggravating and confusing.

Aggravating because who needs that to happen early in the morning. Also, I don’t have a tire presser tool. Having only had this car back for a few months also made it confusing, because the rental car also had a tire pressure issue, and it would indicate which tire was low. My Ford does not. Additionally, the high tech free pumps at Wawa that read your tire pressure all closed.

So now it was a guessing game. My overly helpful 24-year-old son checked the manual, and shared more bad news. The low pressure light on the dash takes up to 20 minutes to reset.

So I put a little air in both front tires, and put buying a tire pressure tool on my overly long to do list. And then we went home.

On a happier note, one of our errands was interrupted so we stopped at the Flour Shop Bakery. If you go, go early. We were delighted by the variety of baked goods, and everyone left happy. Sometimes you need to take happiness where you find it, especially on a cloudy early morning.
