Emmaus police blotter

DUI

Thomas Robert Brenner, 48, of Bethlehem, was arrested Dec. 4, 2023, in the 300 block of Pine Street for allegedly driving under the influence, careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic, according to Emmaus police.

Retail theft

Dawn Marie Miller, 48, of Bethlehem, was arrested Jan. 17 after an incident at a business in the 200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Emmaus police. Charges include alleged retail theft third offense and receiving stolen property valued at less than $50.

Michael Rushing, 45, of Emmaus was arrested Feb. 5 for alleged retail theft of less than $150 from a business in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

A 50-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged Feb. 2 with alleged retail theft less than $150 after an incident at a business in the 200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Emmaus police.

Miscellaneous merchandise was removed from a business in the 200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 6.

Theft from motor vehicle

A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle in the 900 block of Chestnut Street Feb. 3, according to Emmaus police.

Burglary

Someone forcibly entered a home in the 100 block of Camp Street and removed various items, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 21.

Criminal mischief

Nathan Scott Baer, 42, of Schnecksville, was charged Jan. 25 with alleged criminal mischief in excess of $500 and public drunkenness after an incident in the 100 block of East Elm Street, according to Emmaus police.

A front door of a residence in the 1000 block of Cold Stream Circle was damaged, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 1.

Disorderly conduct

A 19-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 25 for alleged disorderly conduct, unreasonable noise and threatening behavior after an incident in the unit block of South 10th Street, according to Emmaus police.

Use of tobacco in schools prohibited

A 17-year-old male, of Emmaus, a 16-year-old, of Macungie and a 14-year-old female, of Alburtis, were cited Jan. 30 for alleged use of tobacco in schools prohibited at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police.

Theft

Michael Todd Daily, 29, of Emmaus, was charged Jan. 25 with alleged theft by unlawful taking or disposition $2,000 of movable property, access device fraud $500 or more issued to another and receiving stolen property over $2,000 following an incident in the 600 block of Furnace Street, according to Emmaus police.

Steven William Melendez, 47, of Emmaus, was charged Feb. 2 with alleged theft of services following an incident in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.

Numerous items were removed from a residence in the 100 block of Main Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 25.

An AirPod case, valued at $79, was removed from Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 31.

A package valued at $1,400 was removed from a residence in the 300 block of Barrett Road, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Jan. 31.

Found property

A girl’s bicycle was found Jan. 26 behind a business in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police. The bicycle was taken to Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.

A set of keys was found near the Ninth Street playground Jan. 24, according to Emmaus police. The keys were taken to Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.
