Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk greeted him at LVIA, then later accompanied him on stops at the Allentown Fire Academy and Emergency Operations Center. In Emmaus, he visited several local businesses - including Emmaus Run Inn, South Mountain Cycle Shop and Nowhere Coffee. He stayed longer than planned, not leaving the borough until nearly 4 p.m., which, according to the president's schedule, was the departure time from LVIA.
