Bethlehem club’s grant benefits CAT

Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary Club announced a contribution of $10,000 to CAT – Coalition for Appropriate Transportation – to support CAT’s mission of promoting sustainable and accessible transportation solutions within the community.

The Morning Star Rotary Club has a longstanding commitment to making a positive impact on the local community. Recognizing the essential work carried out by CAT, the club is thrilled to contribute to the organization’s efforts in creating a more sustainable and efficient transportation system.

CATfocuses on advocating for and implementing environmentally friendly transportation solutions. The organization plays a vital role in addressing the challenges associated with transportation in our community, striving to make it more inclusive, affordable and environmentally conscious.

The Morning Star Rotary Club grant will provide CAT with the development and implementation of projects aimed at improving public transportation, bicycling education and pedestrian accessibility.

Morning Star Rotary Club President Betty Isaacs expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.

“We are delighted to partner with CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation in their pursuit of creating a more sustainable and inclusive transportation landscape,” she said. “The Morning Star Rotary Club is committed to supporting organizations that contribute to the betterment of our community, and we believe that CAT’s work aligns perfectly with our values.”

CAT Executive Director Scott Slingerland expressed gratitude for the grant.
