The Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Slatington, is offering a beginner Watercolor Workshop with Kay Stauffer 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 16 to Feb. 13,

This five-week course is an introduction to watercolor painting for adults.

Learn basic techniques of paint application, how to handle materials, and how to incorporate principles of design, color and composition.

Materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring a notebook to take notes and a paint rag (preferably cotton).

This registration is for a five-week course. Participants are required to attend all five classes.

There are fees for members and nonmembers.
