Strangulation

A 35-year-old male, of West Lawn, was arrested for strangulation after he allegedly attacked another person at a location along Hamilton Drive, Lower Milford Township, 5:28 a.m. Nov. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The person who was attacked had physical injuries consistent with strangulation, according to authorities.

Identity theft

A resident of Driftwood Lane, Lower Macungie Township, learned of a credit card bill for $2,816 on her credit report for a credit card company with which she doesn’t have a credit card account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 1.

Theft

A 52-year-old female, of Allentown, who was an employee of Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, allegedly arbitrarily removed $300 in currency from customers who paid for their purchases in cash between Nov. 8 and 17 while she worked at a cash register at the retailer, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A wallet was removed from a purse at BJ’s Brewhouse, 665 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The purse was hanging from the back of a chair when the wallet was taken. The wallet contained approximately 15 credit cards and some of the cards were used to make purchases at other stores, according to authorities.

Retail theft

A 37-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody for alleged retail theft at Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, 3:10 p.m. Nov. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly fled on foot from the store but was caught in the parking lot where he allegedly resisted arrest, according to authorities.

Someone removed 38 Eagles sports jerseys, with a total value of $4,940, from retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Found property

A wood chipper was left on private property in Lower Milford Township for approximately a week, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported to police Dec. 5. Anyone with information about the incident or who may be missing a wood chipper is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

DUI

A 25-year-old male, of Coopersburg, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Township, 11:54 p.m. Oct. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist also allegedly was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

A 22-year-old female, of Harrisburg, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 900 block of South 24th Street, Salisbury Township, 12:33 a.m. Nov. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Forgery

Someone removed and cashed a business check for $16,966.25 made payable to The Newtown Engineering Group, Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 1 and Oct. 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
