The Northwestern cross country teams wrapped up the regular season last week when they hosted a Colonial League multi-team meet.

The Tiger boys team went 3-1 to finish the season at 19-5, while the girls team also went 3-1 and finishes the season at 19-5.

Northwestern’s Xander Giandomenico finished fourth overall to lead the Tigers, with teammates Greyson Wellings (5th) and Sean Kershner (6th) behind him. Brady Furman (10th) and Jonathan Fornauf (12th) round out the Tigers’ top five.

In the girls race, Sophia Cornell led the Tigers with a fifth-place finish, followed by teammates Haley Dubois (12th), Megan Fornwalt (14th), Kellcey Pedron (15th) and Devon Heinly Devon (23rd).

The Tigers were back in action this week with the Colonial League Championship meet slated for Wednesday at DeSales University. See next week’s Press for more about the championship meet.
