Enchanted Garden Homecoming Dance set for Oct. 14

As autumn begins, the Student Government Association will host a series of Homecoming events Oct. 13-14.

The celebration opens with the Homecoming Pep Rally 1:05 p.m. Oct. 13 in the EPSD Stadium, followed by the Homecoming Tailgate, which will run 3-5:30 p.m. at the outdoor basketball courts and the Homecoming Football Game, which will begin 7 p.m. in the EPSD Stadium. The Hornets will face Liberty High School.

On Oct. 14, the Enchanted Garden Homecoming Dance will be held 6-9 p.m. in the EPSD Stadium, with doors opening 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the Enchanted Garden Homecoming Dance will be sold during all lunches until sellout. Any Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, homeschooled or VESPA students may purchase tickets at the main office 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Upon arrival at the event, students must present school-issued ID cards. No high heels or guests will be permitted.

Offering Jenga, ladder golf and snacks, Interact Club is seeking volunteers to run its stand at the Homecoming tailgate 3-5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the outdoor basketball courts. Future Business Leaders of America [FBLA] will hold its next meeting after school Oct. 17 in Room 240. Interested students must submit dues and paperwork promptly. For details, visit @emmausfbla on Instagram.

All student-athletes interested in playing a winter sport must fill out a registration form, linked in their “Class of” Schoology page, by Oct. 19. For students enrolled in AP courses, all AP exams may be ordered now through Nov. 3. To purchase a test, students must fill out the registration form linked in their “Class of” Schoology page, then bring check or cash payments to Room 272 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Students ordering multiple tests may combine costs into a single check made payable to Emmaus High School.
