DUI crash

A 21-year-old female, of Douglassville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a one vehicle crash at Herbein’s Garden Center, 4301 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, 1:35 a.m. July 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was seen getting out of her vehicle after it struck a fence and a utility pole, according to authorities.

An 80-year-old male, of Schnecksville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in a five vehicle crash along Hamilton Boulevard, eastbound, in the area of the Interstate 78 West on-ramp, 5:43 p.m. July 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Authorities detailed the incident as follows in a news release: the Schnecksville motorist was eastbound on Hamilton Boulevard while the other four vehicles were all stopped, single file, at a red light. The Schnecksville motorist struck one vehicle from the rear creating a chain reaction collision. The Schnecksville motorist allegedly continued forward, striking several of the vehicles multiple times. Two of the drivers, including the Schnecksville motorist, were hurt, however, both refused EMS transport.

Burglary

A 47-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly entered a residence along Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 10:23 a.m. Aug. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Once inside the residence, the male allegedly took what authorities describe as “harassing pictures” and sent the pictures by text to another person. The male also allegedly removed passports from the residence.

Harassment

A 33-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with harassment after he allegedly shoved another person during an argument at a residence along Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 11:49 p.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 50-year-old female, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of Hickory Road and Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:25 p.m. June 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 43-year-old female, of Allentown, was placed under arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop near the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Schantz Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:12 p.m. Aug. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 49-year-old male, of Pen Argyl, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Hamilton Boulevard and North Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:19 a.m. July 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Drug possession with intent to deliver

An 18-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested for drug possession with intent to deliver after he allegedly was in possession of what authorities describe as “a large amount of marijuana” during a traffic stop in the area of West Main Street and West End Trail, Macungie borough, 11:12 p.m. July 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male also allegedly was under the influence of marijuana at the time of the traffic stop.

Theft

A wallet was removed from a purse at a location along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, July 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The wallet was removed from the purse after the owner hung the purse on the back of her chair. The wallet contained $10 cash and a driver’s license.

A green bag containing $1,245 cash was removed from a shopping cart at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between 8:50 p.m. Aug. 13 and midnight Aug. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Identity theft

A resident of Treeline Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned his credit card information was used to make miscellaneous purchases totaling $16,290.34 between June 21 and July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Forgery

A resident of Lincoln Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone attempted to cash checks using the resident’s bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported July 19.

Robbery

A bag was forcibly taken by several people from a Bethlehem teen while he was in his vehicle at a business in the 600 block of North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:10 a.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
