Twirlers looking to add to team

Do you have an interest in serving on the Salisbury Township School Board? Now is your chance! The deadline to apply to fill a short-term vacancy is 3 p.m. July 7. Any Salisbury Middle School or Salisbury High School student looking to play or manage a sport or join marching band or twirling is in need of an updated physical dated after June 1. There are several opportunities to get this done this summer. St. Luke’s will be hosting free sports physicals at Coca-Cola Park July 10 and 12. Registration is required and a QR code with information was sent out. Looking for a fun way to escape the summer heat, air quality days and watch some great kid-approved movies this summer? The AMC Summer Movie Camp continues this summer. With tickets discounted Wednesdays and Saturdays, this is a great way to spend some time with the kids. Showing through July 5 will be “Kung Fu Panda” and opening July 8 and playing through July 12 will be “Trolls World Tour.”

Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute is hosting an Impact Athlete Soccer Clinic 10 a.m. to noon July 15 for students entering second through fifth grades. The clinic will be held at the Charles Chrin Community Center, 4100 Green Pond Road in Palmer Township. The clinic will be featuring Rylee Donaldson from Villanova University. Mark your calendars! The 2023 National Night Out will be held 6-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at Salisbury Elementary School. The Salisbury Township Police Department is currently looking for basket donations for the basket raffle. For more information, contact Cpl. The Devonshire drop-off site will be open July 6 and 8 and the Franko site will be open July 10, 13 and 15. Hours will remain 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
