There will be Yoga in the Park classes from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays; 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays and 9-10 a.m. Fridays, until Sept. 27 at Ricky Park, 5875 Ricky Ridge Trail, Orefield.

Participants need to bring a yoga mat and water bottle.

The 2023 Parkland Area Summer Rec Camp will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday through Aug. 4 at Jaindl and Fogelsville elementary schools.

Mad Science of the Lehigh Valley will offer a camp experience sure to entertain and delight at its Chemicals, Cells and Crime program for kids ages 6-12 from 9 a.m. to noon July 24-28 at the Lone Lane Park Pavilion, 30 Lone Lane.

Campers will take a walk on the Organ Trail as they explore their bodies systems, solve a mock crime as they look for clues and then “cell-ebrate” the rest of the week with Radical Reactions and Chemical Counting.

There is a per camper fee. A minimum enrollment of 10 children.

The township will show the PG movie “Strange World” on July 14 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

Movie will start at dusk. Grass seating only. Activities begin at 7 p.m.

The township has partnered with Heyday Athletic to host a Women’s and Men’s basketball league at Grange Park Basketball Courts, 360 Grange Road.

Women’s summer session will be held Mondays until Aug. 28. There will be no games on July 3.

The men’s summer session will take place Wednesdays until Aug. 30. There will be no games on July 5.

All games will take place 6 -8 p.m.
