Garden market connects the community

The Bethlehem Rose Garden farmers market opened on June 3 for the 2023 season. The market will run each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 14. Organizer Mary Toulouse was pleased with opening day. “It’s more than buying healthy food,” she said, “it’s people coming here because it connects the community.”

Food vendors, food trucks, informational stands and musicians were spread under the tree canopy at the south end of the park while volunteers maintained the nearby rose garden beds.
