NORTH WHITEHALL: NOVA Auxiliary having craft fair

The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, will stage a craft fair 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 10 at the ambulance corps’ Ormrod headquarters.

Food will be available for purchase.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, has begun its Sunday summer worship time at 9 a.m.

VBS at St. John’s will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 12-16, for children 4 years old up to and including those entering sixth grade.

The theme is “God Has a Plan for You.”

Although preregistration is recommended for planning purposes, anyone who comes will be welcomed.

St. John’s is having a hoagie and sandwich fundraiser with pick up 11:30 a.m. to noon on June 25. Call 610-262-8061 to order by June 18.

Several options are available for the sandwiches on a kaiser roll and for cheese and toppings on the hoagies.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, invites everyone to participate in a fundraiser at Drizzle Ice Cream, 5040 Route 873, Schnecksville, from noon to 9 p.m. June 21.

Fifteen percent of sales will benefit the Breakfast Bunch summer breakfast and lunch program for children in Slatington.

This opportunity helps provide food for those who typically depend on getting their meals at school and may need help during the vacation months.

Drizzle offers hand-dipped ice cream, soft serve, sundaes, milkshakes and more.

The Hearts for Music summer camp will take place 10 a.m. to noon between June 14-17 at Union Lutheran Church, , 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville.

The musical ensemble provides a chance for children and adults with special needs to participate in music in an orchestral setting.

Union Lutheran member Jackie Bucks is leading this new ministry which aims to transform disabilities into abilities.

The Upper Lehigh Lions will have a food stand June 20-24 at the Schnecksville Community Fair.

Proceeds will benefit needs in the community.
