Dr. Fatehy M. El-Turky, 75, of Lower Macungie Township, died May 29, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Fatma El-Turky, an instructor of Arabic at Muhlenberg and Lafayette colleges. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, he was employed as a professor of electrical engineering at Temple University.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Hebat, Marwa and Mena.

Services were held at Muslim Association of the Lehigh Valley. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
