Susan Jane Felegy, 78, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Fullerton, died March 5, 2023.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Carolyne C. (Sterner) Felegy. She lived with her aunt and uncle, the late Helen and Jacob Bruderer.

She earned a masters in music education and EMT and paramedic certifications.

She was a music teacher in the Lehighton Area School District for more than 15 years. She was active with the former Whitehall Emergency Squad for decades. She was a nurse’s aide, technician and registrar in the emergency department of Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was a patient safety companion at Penn State Hershey Medical Center after moving to the Masonic Village. She assisted students studying anatomy and physiology at local colleges.

She was a member of the Rose Croix Chapter 235, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a cousin, Carol A. Snyder Peters of Whitehall; extended family; and friends.
