VIETNAM MEMORIAL CEREMONY: Service persons killed in action in the Vietnam War will be honored at a Memorial Day ceremony presented by the Bethlehem Detachment 284 of the Marine Corps League. PEACE CAMP: Young People Making Peace Summer Day Camp, sponsored by the LEPOCO Peace Center, is set for 9 a.m. to noon July 24 to 28 at First Presbyterian Church, Allentown. The camp is for children who have completed kindergarten through eighth grade. There will be songs, stories, crafts, games and other fun activities. LEVITT CONCERT SCHEDULE: Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, has announced its 2023 free concert series line-up. Beginning Friday, May 19 through Saturday, Sept. 9, every Thursday-Saturday and select Sunday nights, the Levitt Pavilion will feature free professional concerts at the SteelStacks campus. Included in Levitt’s 13th season are annual festivals ¡Sabor! Latin Festival, held June 23-25, the return of One Earth ReggaeFest on July 1 and Blast Furnace Blues July 21-23.

Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks is part of a national network of outdoor Levitt music venues and concert sites dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of communities through free, live music. KITCHEN HERB GARDEN: Seniors are invited to Traditions of Hanover, located at 5300 Northgate Drive, in Bethlehem, to create a kitchen herb garden on Wednesday, May 24, from 2-3 p.m., along the outdoor walking path. Explore the flavors of basil, oregano, chives and thyme by tasting an assortment of dips made with each of these herbs. Then select your favorite and take a plant home to start your kitchen garden! CATALYST SUMMER CAMP: Valley Youth House is accepting registrations for its 2023 Catalyst Adventure Learning Summer Camp programs. The programs will take place at Valley Youth House’s Camp Fowler in Orefield.

Seven camp sessions are available and include both overnight camps and day camps. Day camp sessions are available to youth aged 8 to 17, and overnight camp sessions are available to youth aged 10-17 with the exception of the July 5 - 7 Expression camp, which is open to campers aged 14-18. CARS & COFFEE: Cars & Coffee series at SteelStacks, presented by Koch Automotive Group, will be presented one Sunday each month through September with the diverse themes of American Muscle, European and Japanese vehicles. The 2023 dates are confirmed to be May 21 - All Makes, June 4 – European Theme; July 16 – American Muscle; Aug. 27 – Japanese Theme; and the Grand Finale on Sept. 17. Cars & Coffee encourages car enthusiasts from throughout the region to come together for a fun-filled morning featuring a variety of vehicles of all makes and models. The series typically draws more than 20,000 visitors throughout the year. All events will be held from 9 a.m. to noon
