The Bel Canto Youth Chorus of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem is having auditions for the fall term.

The choir is open to children and youth ages 7-18 for both the Preparatory Chorus (ages 7-12) and the Concert Choir (ages 12-18).

The Bel Canto Youth Chorus is internationally recognized for its high standard of musical excellence and style and presentation of innovative, artistic choral programs. Led by Dr. Joy Hirokawa since its founding in 1993, Bel Canto includes young singers from southeastern Pennsylvania.

Auditions are scheduled for May 15, 20 and 22, and June 6 for the 2023-24 choir.

Singers will introduce themselves, sing several scales and a familiar song, and complete several musical challenges to assess their level of musical ability. A prepared piece is not required. To register, visit forms.gle/o385fVBEybQCkaY59.
