LETTER TO THE EDITOR Writer endorses Jerdon for Lynn Township supervisor

To the Editor:

May 16 is an important Primary election for our municipality.

A board of three township supervisors govern the local zoning, planning and ordinances that determine quality of life, recreation and future growth in our beautiful rural community.

Individuals who have served in this role over the years have provided the open space and natural beauty we enjoy today.

Ronald Jerdon is one of two very capable candidates running for Lynn Township supervisor.

I enthusiastically endorse Ron Jerdon, based on his generous time, talent and resources that he has devoted to our community.

Ron’s involvement in the Northwestern Lehigh Veterans Memorial to recognize veterans in our area demonstrated his skill in construction management, procurement, coordination and teamwork that made this project successful.

His community involvement in our fire company, churches, schools and zoning hearing board shows his commitment to community service.

Ron’s 24-year service in the U.S. Army, retiring at the highest enlisted rank of command sergeant major attests to his leadership skills and advocacy for those in his command.

His successful construction management company and leadership roles in the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council is also evidence of his leadership and commitment to his community.

I am confident Ronald Jerdon will provide vision and leadership to preserve our township’s agricultural industry, while providing controlled residential growth to ensure our children and grandchildren can continue to live and prosper in our community.

Please consider casting your vote for Ronald Jerdon, Lynn Township supervisor.
