Ernest R. Stoudt

Ernest “Skip” R. Stoudt, 73, of Emmaus, died March 15, 2023, in his home in Bradenton, Fla. He was the husband of Kathleen (Roesch) Stoudt. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ernest M. and Anna L. (Schware) Stoudt.

He attended Emmaus High School, Class of 1967.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Bronze Star and served in Vietnam in the 328th Radio Research Company.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Millersville State and graduated summa cum laude. He taught industrial arts in the Allentown School District until retiring.

He was a member of the Catholic War Vets, VFW, Emmaus Fire Co. #1 and a longtime member of the Tall Maples Hunting Lodge.

He is survived by his wife; brother, David and his wife, Rebecca; nieces and nephews.
