Northampton: Boy Scouts plan March 25 spaghetti dinner at St. Paul’s UCC

Boy Scout Troop 93 is planning to hold a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. March 25 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 19th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

There is a cost, which includes drinks, salad and ice cream for dessert. Children age 6 and under eat for free.

Proceeds will benefit the Boy Scouts.

A crabcake and/or chicken finger dinner is set for 4:30-6:30 p.m. March 24 at Grace UCC, 902 Lincoln Ave., on a first-come, first-served basis. Dinners include two crabcakes or three chicken fingers, a baked potato, coleslaw, roll and a brownie.

The dinners can be taken out or eaten there.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2181 Washington Ave., will be holding a breakfast 8:30 a.m.-noon March 26. The menu includes omelets, scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, breakfast meats and beverages.

All are welcome.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo will hold a Spring Fling Easter egg hunt, basket raffle and craft and vendor fair 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 8 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St. Registration for the egg hunt, for children up to age 12, is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. The egg hunt begins noon.

Proceeds benefit patients in treatment now through Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Prager Patient Fund.

Veterans Outreach Day will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 22 at Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave. The event is sponsored by Northampton Joint Veterans Association and the Valley Health Partners Veteran Health program.

Many veteran-based organizations will be present to provide information, support and services for all veterans, their families and their caretakers.
