Mary Ann “Bonni” Raynor, 80, died March 1, 2023. She was the wife of Willard “Bill” O. Raynor for 58 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of Wallace and Helen (Olexa) Vasilawsky.

She attended Bucknell University where she majored in English and was on the dean’s list. She earned a master’s degree in social work.

She was an English teacher in Washington, N.J. She was a social worker for the city of New York. She was a human resources manager at Berkshire Life, Pittsfield, where she was integral in creating the first in-house employee child care center that served many companies in the area. She was a court appointed special advocate for children.

After moving to Newtown, Conn., she was president of the League of Women Voters and served in local politics. She was a secretary in the local Ukrainian Orthodox church.

In addition to her husband, she survived by two children, Charles and Andrea; and a son-in-law, Charlie.
