Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, had its monthly “Read to the Pups” program on Feb. 7. Children were invited to read to Lehigh Valley Therapy Dogs.

Participating in this program were Lilly, a 9-year-old Pekingese, owned by Shane and Kim Schmoyer; and Stella, a 4-year-old mini schnauzer, brought by her “mom” Sandy Herman.

Maddy, a 3-year-old Cockapoo was there with Andrea Clements, her special human; as was Barkley, a 5-year-old black Labrador retriever, who arrived in style with Ann Mari Markowitz.
