Jessica Liddell, from Bella Mosaic, was this year’s Artist in Resident at Northwestern Elementary.
Students in every grade level worked with art teacher, Tracy Smoyer, and artist, Liddell.
From inspiration through completion, the entire collaboration took about 10 days, from December 2022 until February, to design and finalize their masterpiece.
The colorful unique tile mosaic creation was named “Tiger Pride” and installed in the foyer outside the gymnasium for everyone to view.
This Tigers-themed experience was made possible through an Artist in Residence grant from the Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation.
