Denise V. Biundo, 58, of Alburtis, died Jan. 27, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Joseph P. Biundo for 35 years of marriage on April 23, 2022. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of Kay (Hunsworth) Giampa and the late Graziano Giampa.

She worked in various positions for Sodexo, including dining hall manager at Lehigh University for over a decade.

She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many, who had a zest for life. She was happiest when baking her famous sweets, watching the Flyers and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Antonella and her partner, John Dugan; son, Francesco and his partner, Erin McDowell; brother, Graziano Giampa Jr. and faithful canine companion, Buca.

Family and friends are invited for a viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 2 and 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 3 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A service will follow directly after the viewing 11 a.m. Feb. 3 in the funeral home.
