Police investigated a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the unit block of North Front Street.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of Chestnut Street was reported.

The department investigated a report of a vehicle struck in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers responded to a report of a male pulling a gun on a citizen, who reportedly discharged pepper spray at the man and fled into an apartment. Catasauqua and North Catasauqua police departments assisted.

Police responded to a report of a burglary during the holidays in the 5900 block of Coplay Road.

A domestic call brought police to the 100 block of South Front Street.

Officers investigated a burglary report in the 5900 block of Coplay Road. The items were found.

Police assisted Catasauqua officers in the unit block of South Second Street with a male threatening to ingest cyanide tablets.

JAN. 6

An abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of South Second Street was investigated.

Officers responded to a report of a dog struck in the area of South Second and Hokendauqua streets. Whitehall police and Whitehall and Catasauqua fire departments assisted.
