Ida M. Simon, 94, of Coplay, died Jan. 15, 2023, in Bethlehem Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph Simon.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Emilia (Ganster) Semler.

She was a presser in the garment industry for many years.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and of its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two sons, Mark and Joseph and wife Maureen; two grandchildren, Shelby and husband Oscar and Brad and wife Lauren; a great-granddaughter, Taylor; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Confer; and six brothers, John, Joseph, Edward, William, Raymond and Albert.

There will be a calling time 6-8 p.m. Jan. 20 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Jan. 21 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay, 18037.
