Allen Township Public Works Department has been providing residents with curbside collection of live Christmas trees Thursdays during the month of January. The last dates for tree pickup is Jan. 19 and 26.

Place your undecorated Christmas tree curbside the night before collection. If you need to speak to the public works department directly, call 610-262-7012, ext. 105.

Save the date for the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Valentine’s Day dance, set for 7-10 p.m. Feb. 11 in the fellowship hall at the church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville.

Bring your sweetheart and a favorite dish to share. This is a family-friendly event.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, is holding its next breakfast 8-11 a.m. Feb. 19. It is open to the public.

The 14th annual Governor Wolf Historic Society antiques show is set for March 4 and 5.

All three buildings at the Governor Wolf Academy, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will be filled with approximately 25 vendors selling primitives and country antiques. Unique features of the show are the period room settings and hearth cooking demonstrations using antique kitchen implements.

The deadline to register for East Allen Township’s spring festival is March 30. Vendors are needed for the event, which will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. May 20 at Bicentennial Park East. A deposit is required to reserve vendor space.

This event benefits East Allen Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
