Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am currently a senior at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. Joel Pierre is my father, Cherlyne Michel is my mother and Nehemiah Pierre is my little brother. I do not have any pets at the moment.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. I would say science because although it can be hard at times the end results are always satisfying.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. Not that I know of, no.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. Yes, I am a part of the Emmaus track and field team and also the Emmaus Interact Club. These activities have helped me branch out of my comfort zone a lot. I’ve gained the confidence to be my own person and do things that make me happy.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge would be learning to accept adulthood and the obstacles I may face in my future.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My next goal after high school is to go to college and study biochemistry.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. My parents, because they’ve sacrificed so much for me to live a good life and yet they never expect much in return for what they have done.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as someone who was always humble and easy to talk to.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Take school one day at a time, you’ll be done sooner than expected.
