Terroristic threats

Someone threatened another person over the phone at a location on Springridge Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Oct. 11.

DUI

A 34-year-old male, of Allentown, was allegedly driving under the influence at the intersection of South Seventh Street and Bank Street, Emmaus borough, 10:54 p.m. Dec. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 30-year-old male, of Topton, was allegedly driving under the influence on North Broom Street, Emmaus borough, 2:51 a.m. Dec. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 26-year-old female, of Saylorsburg, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop near the intersection of North Brookside Road and Medical Center Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 3:08 a.m. Nov. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 27-year-old female, of Topton, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop near the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and the bypass to Interstate 78 East, Lower Macungie Township, 1:54 a.m. Nov. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 53-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a trooper responded to a location near the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a disabled vehicle blocking the northbound lane 5:50 p.m. Sept. 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Found property

A white iPhone smartphone with a damaged screen, valued at $450, was found at a location on North Pewter Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft

Fifteen political campaign signs were removed from the intersection of Willow Lane and State Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between Oct. 16 and Oct. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Items were removed from a storage unit at East Penn Self Storage, 3801 Allen St., Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A shopper’s wallet was stolen at Whole Foods Market, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 301, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Oct. 18.

A wallet was removed from a shelf where a person placed it while shopping at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Fountain Road, Upper Milford Township, learned someone made $168 in fraudulent charges to his credit card, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Sept. 25.

Theft from vehicle

Power tools, with a total value of $328.04, were removed from a van at a location on Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 7:41 a.m. Oct. 3. Investigators discovered the van was left unlocked and parked in an open lot. Items taken included a Milwaukee M12 palm nailer with charger, valued at $199 and a Milwaukee power tool battery valued at $129.04, according to authorities.

A cutting tool was used to remove catalytic converters from a 2008 Ford F250 SuperCab pickup truck and 1999 Ford F250 SuperCab pickup truck at a location on Schantz Road, Lower Macungie Township, overnight Sept. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A catalytic converter was removed from a sport utility vehicle in the 4000 block of Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 6 p.m. Oct. 16 and 8 p.m. Oct. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Three people allegedly worked together to remove merchandise from Ulta Beauty store and hair salon, 833 N. Krocks Road, Suite 103, Lower Macungie Township, 2:55 p.m. Nov. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The suspects allegedly put merchandise in handbags and their clothing. When a store employee approached them the suspects quickly left the store and got into a gray Chevrolet sedan.

Two people allegedly worked together to remove men’s athletic apparel, valued at approximately $1,600, from Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Suite 101, Lower Macungie Township, Sept. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The suspects allegedly left the store through a rear exit.

Someone removed 16 items, including hot food and adult beverages, with a total value of $109.42, from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Sept. 27.

A 54-year-old male, of Pompano Beach, Fla., allegedly removed multiple cosmetic items, with a total value of $249.22, from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Sept. 25.

Burglary

Someone used a tool to attempt to get inside a residence in the 4700 block of Yorkshire Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 7:30 p.m. and 7:47 p.m. Oct. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The attempt to enter the residence was unsuccessful, according to authorities.

Accident

A Gilbertsville motorist was hurt when his vehicle flipped onto its roof along South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 11:04 p.m. Nov. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle spun off the west shoulder of the road, struck an embankment and toppled, landing facing east in the southbound lane of the road, according to authorities. Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded and the motorist was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, Salisbury Township.

A motorist, of Emmaus, escaped injury when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a residence near the intersection of Mink Road and Champagne Road, Upper Milford Township, 2:22 p.m. Oct. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was traveling west on Mink Road when it veered off the road, through a front lawn and into the residence, according to authorities. The driver told authorities his car jumped and he did not remember anything until the vehicle hit the residence.

Assault

A 59-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested for assault after allegedly hurting another person at a location on Keith Lane, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Oct. 31 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, Salisbury Township.

Scam

A person in the 1100 block of Grange Road was scammed out of $3,500, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 5:56 p.m. Nov. 4.

A resident of South Oak Street, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled into paying another person $500 in a fraudulent refund for furniture the resident was selling, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 10:20 a.m. Oct. 16.

Harassment

A 38-year-old female and an 18-year-old male allegedly harassed each other during an argument at a location on Lakeside Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:03 a.m. Nov. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Each person was cited for harassment.

Dog complaint

A resident of the 6800 block of Goor Street, Lower Macungie Township, was bitten by a dog while at a dog park in the Spring Creek Estates Recreation Area, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 7:02 p.m. Aug. 10. The dog’s owner was contacted by state police.

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was removed from a location on Buttercup Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
