Scouting for Food in eastern Salisbury

PRESS PHOTOS BY CHRISTOPHER BOUCHER On Nov. 12, 14 families from Cub Scout Pack 146 and three families from Boy Scout Troop 146 gathered donations from the surrounding Salisbury community as part of the Scouting for Food initiative with Boy Scouts of America. The donations were given to the Grace Community Foundation, located between Fifth and Linden streets, Allentown. The Scouts collected a total of 604 pounds of food. The Troop meets at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown. The Scouts thank the fire department for the use of their facility for the food collection.
