Mary L. Tate, 89, of Macungie, died Nov. 27, 2022, in Complete Care at Lehigh Center. She was the wife of the late Frank G. Tate. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Edwin W. and Lillian F. (Berg) Gaul.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Jeffrey Ritter, of Allentown; grandson, Noah Ritter. She was predeceased by sons, Thomas F., David J., Robert E. and John J.; daughters, Therese M. Krokowski and Susan A. Ritter.

Contributions may be made to the church, Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 1 in the church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Call 10 a.m. until Mass. Arrangements entrusted to the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
