David William Brady

David William Brady, 82, of Emmaus, died peacefully in his home, Nov. 19, 2022. He was the husband of Deborah Brady. He was the son of the late Ernest and Olga Yerk.

He graduated from Allentown High School, Class of 1957.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1964 aboard the USS Beale DDE-471.

He worked for The Morning Call for 25 years before moving his business to Emmaus.

He owned and operated Dave’s Interior Restorations since 1986. He has been a large presence in the community for 35 years.

He was a member of AACA, BCA and one of the original founders of the Free Spirit Chapter.

He had a passion for cars, mostly Buicks and that was obvious when you walked into the office.

Over the years, he created and crafted many award-winning interiors, yet was always eager to serve his community. A man who truly lived his passion.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, April and Carol; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna, Kathy, Mary, Judy and Joann. He was predeceased by siblings, Martha, Dawne, Pat, Eleanor and Ernestine.
