Beatrice A. DeLong, 96, of Emmaus, died Nov. 23, 2022. She was the wife of the late John O. DeLong. They were married for 48 years until his death in 1995. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence L. and Katie (Moyer) Shelly.

She graduated from Allentown High School, Class of 1944.

She was a member of the former Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown and later transferred to Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus. She taught Sunday school classes for many years and also taught children’s neighborhood Bible clubs and released-time classes in Allentown and Emmaus.

She was employed in the office of the former Holben Printing Company and later was a co-worker at the former Hess’s South department store.

She is survived by sons, Kelvin K. and his wife, Tama and Leslie L. and his wife, Lisa; daughters, Ardith and her husband, Mark Matson, and Cheryl and her husband, Mike Brewer; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
