Catherine Tapler, 100, of Northampton, died Nov. 12, 2022, at Sacred Heart Senior Living. She was the wife of the late Louis Tapler for 52 years.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Youngkoski) Gaczor.

She was a presser at Regal Sportswear, Northampton.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a son, Thomas and wife Sandy; a daughter, Kathryn Hassler and husband Bruce; a grandson, Tommy Tapler; two stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Mireles and Hollie Albert; a stepgrandson, Randy Hassler; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Wanda Erdosy.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Helen Sodl, Irene Sheckler and Jean Kotrosits; and a brother, Stanley Gaczor.

There will be a calling time 9-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Nov. 17 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
