Help us bring extra smiles to children this holiday season by purchasing gifts for children in the community. All Holiday Hope Chests donated go to our regional nonprofit partners who support youth in the community through their programs and services. This program, coordinated by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, is a great project for large/small groups, clubs, classes, families, and individuals. To participate, go to www.volunteerlv.org/holiday-hope-chests and fill out a 2022 Donor Pledge Form.

Interpreters in a variety of Latino and Middle Eastern dialects would be very helpful to The Whole Life Center food pantry in Easton. Volunteers would assist with filling out forms and work with our front desk to help understand and properly meet the needs of the people. Adults only. Contact Donna Lavin, 610-746-6405, donna@wholelifectr.org.

Did you know that 90 percent of brain development happens before age 5? Join the Lehigh Valley’s Talk, Read, Sing campaign and help us spread the message that talking, reading and singing with children ages 0-5 builds language skills and gets them ready for school. Join United Way of the Greater LV as we create connections at the places in our community our families trust most – childcare centers, grocery stores, salons, libraries, laundromats and more! Contact Reyanna Keglovitz, 610-807-5729, reyannak@unitedwayglv.org.
