Nazareth man dies in crash

The Northampton County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the person who died Oct. 31 in a crash involving two vehicles in Bath Borough.

According to Coroner Zachary Lysek, Mark Allen Beers, 55, of Nazareth, died at the scene of the accident, which took place just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of North Walnut and East Northampton streets (Routes 248 and 512).

Beers was traveling north on Route 512, while the driver of the other vehicle, age 37 and of Bath, was traveling east on Route 248. The vehicles collided in the intersection, police said.
