Salisbury Police

Simple assault

Yadell Warren Butler, 22, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 18 with alleged simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 1700 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police. Butler was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

DUI

Dale Robert Baird, 40, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 23 with allegedly driving under the influence and related traffic offenses following a traffic stop in the 2800 block of West Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. Baird was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Fleeing police

Erlin Geovonny Lazo-Baca, 33, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 19 with allegedly fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and several traffic offenses following a traffic stop on South Pike Avenue, according to Salisbury police. Lazo-Baca was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Receiving stolen property

A 33-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Aug. 16 with allegedly receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic offenses following an attempted traffic stop in the 300 block of Montgomery Street, according to Salisbury police. A warrant was issued.

Possession

A 28-year-old male, of Slatington, was charged Aug. 26 with alleged possession of a controlled substance following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Retail theft

Two juvenile males are referred to the community justice panel following their alleged involvement in a retail theft from the Emmaus Avenue Market, 1017 E. Emmaus Ave., Aug. 27, according to Salisbury police.

Theft from vehicle

Gasoline was removed from a vehicle while it was in the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 20.

Fraud

A resident of the 1700 block of Graham Street learned a check was altered and cashed by an unauthorized party. The incident was reported Aug. 16 and remains under investigation.
