Chester B. Bostick

Chester B. Bostick, 90, formerly of Schnecksville, died Oct. 2, 2022, in Fellowship Community, where he was residing.

He and his wife, Carolyn H. (Helfrich) Bostick, were married 64 years.

Born May 8, 1932, in North Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late John B. and Alice I. (Kleckner) Bostick.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He worked in computer services at PPL, Allentown, for 32 years before retiring in 1989.

He was a life member of Grouse Hall Fish and Game Association and belonged to Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington.

He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where he formerly served as an elder and deacon.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter Kelly R. Weirich (Geoff) of Atlanta, Ga. and children Nicole “Summer,” Chelsea, and Kristen; daughter Fawn D. Albert (Doug) of Schnecksville and children Ashleigh and Stewart; and his Aunt Roma.

He was predeceased by siblings Alice May Weiss and Larry B. Bostick.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9-10:15 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
